Nissan H20 Engine Parts

The Nissan H20 is a 2.0 litre pushrod inline four with eight valves, carburetted and naturally aspirated. Bore is 87.2 mm and stroke 83 mm. Nissan introduced it in 1965 and built it for industrial use into the 1990s. It went into forklifts, the Cabstar, the Caravan E20 and the Urvan E23. The H20 runs a timing chain, not a belt.We stock 9 parts for the H20.

H20 timing chain and guide

The NVP chain set is H20 specific. The loose chain also fits the K20, K21 and K25 forklift engines. The chain guide is shared with the SD22, SD23, SD25, TD23 and TD25 diesels.

H20 full gasket sets

Two full gasket sets are listed, one from KP and one NVP set. The KP set is marked for forklifts built after 1977, so check the build plate before ordering for an older engine.

H20 pistons, rings and bearings

A piston and ring set is listed, plus a bare piston set that is 1 mm oversize and needs a rebore to 88.2 mm. Measure the bores before ordering either. Both bearing sets also cover the U20, the overhead cam version of this block from the Datsun 2000 roadster. The main set also fits the K21 and K25 forklift engines.
