The Toyota 2B is a 3.2 litre OHV inline four diesel, naturally aspirated and indirect injected through a swirl chamber. It was built through the 1980s and sits between the 3.0 litre B and the 3.4 litre 3B in Toyota’s LandCruiser diesel family. Every one of the 4 parts under the 2B is a bearing set, so there is no gasket or timing stock here.
The 2B is the middle capacity in that family, and the sets here are filed across the 3B as well. The 3B page carries more stock, so check the engine number stamped on your block before choosing between them.
Camshaft bearing sets
Two camshaft bearing sets are listed under the 2B. One covers the B, 2B and 3B, and the other runs through to the 13B-T and 15B. The camshaft sets span the whole B family, but the main and conrod sets do not.
2B main bearing sets
The main bearing set covers the B, 2B and 3B. That means one shell set suits both the 3.2 litre 2B and the larger 3.4 litre 3B.
Conrod bearings for the 2B
The conrod bearing set stops at the B and 2B, unlike the main and camshaft sets. If your block is a 3B, the 3B page is the one to use.
