The Nissan RB26 is a 2.6 litre inline six, DOHC with 24 valves and port fuel injection. Like the rest of the RB family it is belt driven, not chain driven. This is the base RB26 term. Most of what sits here is boxed across the 2.0 litre RB20, the 2.5 RB25 and the 3.0 RB30.Stock for the RB26 runs to 5 parts.
RB26 head gasket and gasket set
An Athena MLS head gasket is listed for the RB26, along with a KP VRS gasket set for the turbo version. An MLS gasket wants a flat deck and a clean surface finish, so get the head and block measured before you fit one.
RB26 main and conrod bearings
The TDC main bearing set covers the RB20, RB25, RB30 and the 2.8 litre RD28 diesel as well. The NDC conrod set is boxed for the RB26 and the RB26DETT, which is the twin turbo version of the same 2.6 litre.
