The Toyota 7K is a 1.8 litre overhead valve inline four petrol, carburetted or injected as the 7K-E. It keeps the 80.5 mm bore of the 1.5 litre 5K and stretches the stroke from 73 to 87.5 mm. The 1.3 litre 4K is 75 mm on the same stroke. Toyota built it from 1996 to about 2007 for the Liteace and Townace KR42. 9 parts for it are listed here.

7K timing chain, timing set and gear

The 7K uses a timing chain, not a belt. A genuine Toyota single row chain, an aftermarket chain and an NVP timing set for the 5K and 7K. A timing gear is listed from 1982 onward, a cut-off that only matters on a 4K or 5K since every 7K is later.

Main and conrod bearings, thrust washers

An NDC main bearing set boxed for the 4K, 5K and 7K, and an NDC thrust washer set shared with the 3E and 5E. The NDC conrod bearing set is boxed with the 7A-FE, the 1.8 litre twin cam in the AE102 and AE112 Corolla.

7K ring set

An NPR ring set boxed for the 7K alone. The bore is the same 80.5 mm as the 5K, so measure it before you order rather than assuming a standard set on a block that has been honed.

Also listed for the Toyota 7K

A manifold gasket boxed for the 3K through 7K. Most of this page also sits under the 4K and 5K, because the K family shares bearings, chain and gaskets across all four displacements.
