The Isuzu 4JJ3 is a 3.0 litre inline four diesel, DOHC with 16 valves. The 4JJ3 runs a timing chain, not a belt. It is common rail direct injected, turbocharged through a variable geometry turbo and intercooled. Isuzu introduced it in 2020 to replace the 4JJ1-TC. It powers the RG D-Max from 2020 on, the MU-X and the Mazda BT-50 TF. We stock 9 parts for it.
4JJ3 injectors
Denso common rail injectors for the D-Max and BT-50 from 2020 on, as a single unit or a set of four. Both are boxed for the 4JJ3 alone. The 4JJ1 it replaced shares the 3.0 litre displacement and 95.4 mm bore. The 4JJ3 differs in higher injection pressure and 140 kW against 130 kW.
Dump pipes with or without cat
Four Manta dump pipes, boxed for the 4JJ1-TC and 4JJ3 in the D-Max, MU-X and BT-50. Two carry a cat and two do not. Each comes either with EGT and O2 sensor bungs only or with the DPF sensor ports as well. Count the sensor bungs on the factory pipe before you order. The RG D-Max carries a DPF, so it needs the pipe with the DPF ports. Otherwise the pressure sensor has nowhere to go.
Intercooler upgrade
An HP Diesel intercooler upgrade kit and a BT-50 intercooler, both for the 4JJ3 from 2020 on.
