The Toyota 2VZ-FE is the 2.5 litre VZ V6: 2,507cc, 60 degree, DOHC 24 valve with belt driven cams, naturally aspirated, multipoint injection, 87.5mm bore, 69.5mm stroke. Toyota built it from 1988 to 1991 for the wide body Camry VZV21 and Lexus ES250. The 3VZ-FE replacement keeps the bore but runs an 82mm stroke for 3.0 litres, so most parts are shared. We stock 14 parts for the 2VZ.
Timing belt tensioners, idler and water pump
NVP timing belt tensioner, tensioner pulley and idler, and an NPW water pump for the 2VZ-FE and 3VZ-FE. The 2VZ-FE runs a timing belt, not a chain, and the water pump sits behind it, so change the pump with the belt and idlers rather than opening the front of the engine twice.
2VZ gasket sets and seals
KP VRS and full gasket sets for the 2VZ-FE, genuine camshaft oil seals, and a rear main seal boxed for the whole VZ and GR V6 family.
Main bearings, thrust washers and pistons
TDC, NDC and ACL main bearing sets, the ACL at 0.75mm undersize, NVP thrust washers and an NVP piston set. The mains are boxed across the 2VZ-FE, 3VZ-E, 3VZ-FE and 5VZ-FE because the journals match; the piston set is 2VZ-FE only.
