The Subaru FA20 is a 2.0 litre naturally aspirated flat four with double overhead cams and Toyota D-4S direct injection. Subaru put it in the BRZ ZC6 from 2012 and Toyota in the 86. The later FB20 and 2.5 litre FB25 are longer stroke engines from another family. Stock under the FA20 runs to 4 parts, and only the main bearing set is unique to it here.
FA20 timing chain set
The FA20 drives its camshafts with a timing chain, not a belt. The chain set listed covers the FB20 and FB25 as well, so check the number on the box against your engine.
FA20 water pump
The water pump here is an NPW unit filed against the FA20, FB20 and FB25. Doing the pump while the timing chain is out saves a second strip down, and both lines share the same fitment.
FA20 head bolts and main bearings
The head bolt set covers the EJ20, EJ25, FB20 and FB25 alongside the FA20. Subaru head bolts stretch as they are torqued, so plan on new ones rather than reusing what came out.
