The Hyundai G4KC is the first generation Theta 2.4, a petrol inline four of 2,359cc from an 88mm bore and 97mm stroke. It is DOHC 16 valve, port injected and naturally aspirated. It ran from 2005 to about 2010 in the Sonata NF and Kia Magentis, before the Theta II G4KE took over. The G4KC runs a timing chain, not a belt.11 parts for the G4KC are listed here.
G4KC head gasket and head bolts
A head gasket boxed for the G4KJ and G4KE as well, and a head bolt set that covers the whole family from G4KA to G4KL.
G4KC ring sets
Two NPR ring sets, one for the G4KC alone and one listed across the G4KG, G4KJ and G4KE. All four are 2.4 litre Thetas on the same 88mm bore, so most of this page is shared. The G4KJ is the direct injected 2.4 and the G4KG a later port injected Theta II.
G4KC main and conrod bearings
TDC copper lead main and conrod bearing sets and an NDC conrod bearing set. These cross to the 2.0 litre G4KD too, because the 2.0 and 2.4 share journal sizes. The rings do not, since the G4KD is an 86mm bore against 88mm here.
G4KC timing chain guide and tensioner arm
A genuine chain guide, a genuine tensioner arm assembly and a timing cover seal that is also sized for the Holden Z22SE.
Also on the G4KC shelf
A genuine crankshaft key shared from the G4KA to the G4KJ.
