The Hyundai G6DB is a 3.3 litre V6 with DOHC 24 valve heads, port injected and naturally aspirated. It is the smallest early Lambda V6, under the 3.5 litre G6DC and the 3.8 litre G6DA. Hyundai and Kia used it from the mid 2000s in the Santa Fe and the Sonata. Most are also filed under the Santa Fe DM.We carry 7 parts for the G6DB.
Head gasket
The head gasket listed is the left side one. On a V6 the two banks take different gaskets. Work out which side you are pulling apart before ordering, or call Oxley on (07) 3377 3421 with your engine number.
Pistons and main bearings
A TIK piston set is listed for the G6DB on its own, and an Enginetech main bearing set covers it together with the G6DC.
Water pump, oil pump chain and cam gear
The genuine water pump is listed, along with the oil pump drive chain and an exhaust side variable camshaft gear. All three are shared with the G6DA and the G6DC. The Lambda V6 is chain driven rather than belt driven, and the oil pump runs a chain of its own.
