Toyota 3B Head Gaskets and Engine Parts

The Toyota 3B is a 3.4 litre inline four diesel, overhead valve with two valves per cylinder, naturally aspirated with indirect injection. It was built from about 1980 into the early 1990s and fitted to the LandCruiser 70 Series BJ70, BJ73 and BJ74, the Bundera, the BJ60 wagon and the Dyna truck.The Toyota 3B list runs to 27 parts.

3B head gaskets and gasket sets

Genuine full and VRS gasket sets are listed, and the head gasket is catalogued by thickness at 1.50mm. Check piston protrusion before you order, because a block that has been decked can need a different thickness. Some late sets are labelled 3.5 litre, which is the same engine under a supplier label.

Bearings, pistons and oil pump parts

Main, conrod and camshaft bearing sets are here, some shared across the wider B series diesel range. Piston, ring and pin bush sets cover the bottom end, and there is an oil pump repair set and an oil pump gear.

Extractors for the BJ series

Manta extractors suit the BJ70, BJ71, BJ73 and BJ74 from 1980 to 1985 in the outside chassis fitment. A second set covers the earlier BJ40 and BJ42 and runs the 3.0 litre B as well as the 3B. Extractor gaskets are listed separately.
