The Mazda AJ is a 3.0 litre V6 with DOHC 24 valve heads, naturally aspirated on multipoint fuel injection, and chain driven cams. It is the Ford Duratec 30 under a Mazda code, built from 2000 to 2008 for the Tribute and MPV LW and the Ford Escape. AJ pistons and rings
NVP and Enginetech piston sets in standard and 0.5mm oversize, with NVP, Enginetech and Hastings ring sets to match. The 0.5mm oversize is the only oversize here, so measure the bores first; if they need more than that, these sets will not save the block.
AJ gasket sets and head bolts
Enginetech VRS and lower gasket sets, a Permaseal sump gasket and NVP head bolt sets. The head bolts are also listed for the GY, the 2.5 litre version of the same V6 from the early MPV.
