Forged pistons for the RB30
Gasket kits and head gaskets
RB30 gasket kits come two ways: VRS sets for head work, and full sets supplied without a head gasket so you can choose that separately. A separate choice matters when the head or block has been machined, or on a build that calls for something like the Athena 87mm bore racing head gasket.
Inlet manifold gasket sets cover both the non turbo and turbo engines, and ARP head studs and NVP head bolts are in head bolts and studs. More sets are in gaskets and seals.
Pistons, rings, bearings and rods
Piston sets for the naturally aspirated single cam engine include a TIK set in 0.5mm oversize and a JCC dome top set with valve reliefs. Ring sets come in 0.75mm and 1mm oversize. Main and conrod bearing sets, pin bushes and I-beam conrods with ARP 2000 bolts round out the bottom end.
Several bearing sets are shared with the RB20, RB25 and RD28, so check the fitment line. If the block has been machined, order to the measured size; our sizes page explains what to send.
Engine management and the rest
For engine management builds there are Haltech Elite 2500 ECU and harness kits, including an ignition sub-harness for the RB30, and an NVP performance harmonic balancer with an integrated trigger. A Patrol GQ extractor, a VL Commodore manifold gasket, a Paraut water pump and front crankshaft seals are listed as well.

Which RB30 gasket kit do I need?
For head work, a VRS set. For a full rebuild, a full set without the head gasket, with the head gasket chosen to suit the engine. Tell us whether yours is an RB30E, RB30T or RB30ET and we will confirm the right set before you order.
