The Tough Dog Foam Cell Strut Assembly for Toyota Hilux KUN / Fortuner is a genuine Tough Dog part, engineered to suit the Toyota Hilux.
Struts & Shocks
Shock absorbers and struts control spring movement and keep the tyres in contact with the road. Worn dampers show up as float, nose-dive under brakes and poor control on corrugations, and are one of the highest-value suspension upgrades on a touring 4WD.

Tough Dog warranty: 4 years
Tough Dog Foam Cell shocks have 4 years of warranty with no kilometre limit for recreational use. Commercial use has 3 years. The bushes are covered for 12 months as part of the shock.
The warranty covers repair or replacement of the faulty part. It does not cover labour. It applies to the original buyer only. Tough Dog asks for proof of purchase, the odometer reading at fitting and a completed fitting sheet. Keep these with your invoice. Racing, accident damage, incorrect fitting and vehicles over GVM are not covered.
If a part fails, contact us first. We lodge the claim with Tough Dog. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law still apply.

Returns
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
