This high-performance engine rebuild kit bundles the major components needed to fully recondition the Toyota 1HZ for strengthened, higher-output service.
Description
The high performance rebuild kit for the Toyota 1HZ, the 4.2-litre inline-six diesel in the LandCruiser 70, 75, 78 and 79 Series, the 80 and 105 Series wagons, and the Coaster. Kits include pistons, rings, bearings and a full gasket set. The supplier specifies this kit for 1HZ engines with a turbo: FAST turbo pistons with oil-cooled crowns and 1HD-T conrods.
Piston and ring, main bearing and conrod bearing sizes are all selectable, so if the block has been machined, order to the measured size rather than guessing. See our guide to bearing and piston sizes, and the rest of our 1HZ parts.

Warranty: 12 months on parts from the date of purchase or installation, whichever is later (clause 7.1(b) of our terms and conditions).
Returns: 30 days to change your mind. Parts need to be unused and in their original packaging; a 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost. If a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee. Full returns policy.
Damaged or faulty: please check the goods before you sign the delivery note and tell us straight away if anything arrived damaged in transit. If a part is faulty, contact us and we’ll sort it out. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Warranty: 12 months from Willys Workshop
Sold and warranted by Willys Workshop. Parts carry our 12-month warranty against defects, from the date of purchase or installation (whichever is later), subject to any manufacturer terms and fair wear and tear (Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1(b)). This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
