Description
Set of 8 Wiseco Professional Series forged pistons for the Chevy LS1: 3.780 in (96.01 mm) bore, 1.110 in (28.19 mm) compression height and -7.00 cc crown volume. Wrist pins are included; rings are not.

Matching it to your Chevy LS1
Wiseco list this set for a 4.000 in stroke and 6.125 in connecting rods. Compression height plus rod length plus half the stroke comes to 9.235 in (234.57 mm): compare that with your block’s deck height to see where the piston sits at top dead centre.
Crown volume is quoted as -7.00 cc: Wiseco use a negative figure when the dish or valve reliefs add volume to the combustion chamber. Work out the compression ratio for your combination (chamber volume, gasket bore and thickness, deck clearance) before you order.
The bore size is the finished bore these pistons are made for, so have the block measured and then bored and honed to suit, with piston-to-wall clearance set to Wiseco’s figure for part K473M96.
Material: 2618 aluminium, the low-silicon alloy usually chosen for boosted and high-load engines (it needs more piston-to-wall clearance than 4032).
Forging: strutted design, with a coated skirt.

Warranty: 12 months from Willys Workshop
Sold and warranted by Willys Workshop. Parts carry our 12-month warranty against defects, from the date of purchase or installation (whichever is later), subject to any manufacturer terms and fair wear and tear (Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1(b)). This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
