IF YOUR CAR IS AUTO, YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT THE AUTO OPTION – THE FACTORY TRANS COOLER WILL NOT FIT WITH THIS INTERCOOLER
This comprehensive Series 2 1HD-FTE HPD intercooler kit has been designed with shorter pipe work which runs directly from the intercooler to the turbo charger and inlet, due to the direct path we provide a replacement TIG welded aluminium radiator overflow bottle. This intercooler kit can handle power well above 200kw’s at the wheels with HPD’s bolt on Garrett Turbocharger kit [TK-TL-100FTE-GTX2867R]() and supporting modifications. This kit also has improved ground clearance and excellent winch clearance.
The factory Toyota intercooler core size is 270x240x65mm, giving a surface area of 650cm², and a volume of 4212cc.
Our intercooler measures 600x280x76mm, giving a massive surface area of 1680cm², and a huge volume of 12768cc.
That’s over 2.5 times more surface area cooling, and over 3 times the volume of standard!

Warranty: 12 months from Willys Workshop
Sold and warranted by Willys Workshop. Parts carry our 12-month warranty against defects, from the date of purchase or installation (whichever is later), subject to any manufacturer terms and fair wear and tear (Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1(b)). This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
