Description
HPD’s Toyota Hilux 1GD 2.8L intercooler kit being the largest on the market, was designed for the guys chasing more torque and power from their 1GD, not only does the HPD intercooler have CNC machined mounting boss for the original air temp sensor but provide’s better cooling ability’s, and also flows better for the guy’s running aftermarket turbo’s and injectors, producing upwards of 200kw’s at wheels. HPD’s intercooler increases power by 6kw’s at the wheels and reduces inlet temps by 20 deg’s Celsius also leaning out the factory air fuel mixture allowing for more power and torque with tuning.
The factory Toyota intercooler core size is 640x150x60mm, giving a surface area of 960cm², and a volume of 5760cc.
Our intercooler measures 500x300x76mm, giving a massive surface area of 1500cm², and a huge volume of 11400cc.
That’s a 56% increase in surface area cooling, and almost twice the volume at 98% increase!

Warranty: 12 months from Willys Workshop
Sold and warranted by Willys Workshop. Parts carry our 12-month warranty against defects, from the date of purchase or installation (whichever is later), subject to any manufacturer terms and fair wear and tear (Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1(b)). This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
