The Tunnel Ram 12V is a new patented intake for the 89-98 Dodge Cummins 12V diesel engine. Proudly made in the USA from aircraft quality billet aluminum and pressure tested to over 200psi, The Tunnel Ram is able to withstand high boost pressures much better than the stock cast plate.
It’s unique patented design increases the airflow into the head, which is a known choke point, and distributes the air charge more uniformly between cylinders. What does that mean to you? Faster spool-up for your turbo, lower EGTs (especially in cylinders 1, 5 & 6 which are prone to run hot) and better MPGs.
How can it do this? basically all an engine is, is an air pump. The more air you can get into the engine, the more power it can potentially make.
The Tunnel Ram was built to be a direct bolt-in replacement for the stock plate and fits with all stock and most aftermarket performance intake/fueling accessories. The compound angles of The Tunnel Ram keep the factory location of the intercooler boot as well. No special tools needed and installation is a breeze, takes less than an hour to install on a cool engine.
*Please note that early non-intercooled engines will not fit. If your engine has an intake where the grid heater and plenum cover are one piece, you will need to use a delete spacer or later model grid heater to install. Don’t suffocate your Cummins any longer, let it breathe with The Tunnel Ram! Includes full 3pc (upper, lower, and base) gasket kit!

Sold and warranted by Willys Workshop. Parts carry our 12-month warranty against defects, from the date of purchase or installation (whichever is later), subject to any manufacturer terms and fair wear and tear (Terms & Conditions, clause 7.1(b)). This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.
- 30-day change-of-mind returns on eligible items: unused, uninstalled and in the original packaging, with a Return Authorisation from us first. A 15% restocking fee applies and return postage is at your cost.
- Wrong fit: if a part covered by our Fitment Guarantee doesn’t fit, we pay the return freight both ways and there’s no restocking fee.
- Special-order or imported-to-order items, electrical parts, ECUs and tuners once registered, connected or flashed, parts that have been fitted or modified, and clearance items can’t be returned for change of mind. Your rights for faulty goods still apply.
- Refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 business days of us receiving and inspecting the return.
