What services does Willys Workshop offer?

Willys Workshop are diesel specialists, and we do 4×4 and performance work as well. That covers diesel tuning, engine rebuilds, reconditioning and machining, crate engines and engine swaps, injectors and injection pumps, DPF, EGR and AdBlue cleaning, turbo upgrades, 4×4 fitment, fleet servicing, and general mechanical work like brakes, gearboxes, auto electrical and roadworthy. Servicing:
A diesel service is oil and oil filter, fuel filter, air filter, and draining the water trap. Fuel filtration matters more on a diesel than on a petrol car, because water and dirt in the fuel ruin injectors and pumps long before anything else gives up. Stretch the interval and you pay for it at the injector bench. If the engine is already hard to start, smoking or down on power, we diagnose before we quote. A smoky diesel can be injectors, a turbo seal, a blocked DPF or a boost leak, and those are not the same job or the same bill.

Truck Repairs:
We work on utes, 4WDs, trucks and machinery, mechanical pump and common rail. Tell us the symptom and when it shows up, cold start, under load or at idle, because that narrows the fault faster than a scan tool does. Our diesel mechanics cover diagnostics, injector and pump work, turbos, gearboxes, brakes and auto electrical. Emergency and same day work is available if the vehicle is off the road.

Performance Tunes

Diesel tuning is a remap of the factory ECU, with fuel, timing and boost adjusted together on the engine in front of us. What you get back depends on the vehicle’s condition, so a tired turbo, clogged injectors or a restrictive exhaust set the ceiling before we start. We check the mechanical side first and tell you if the tune is worth doing on that engine. We tune diesel, not petrol, and we do not do crackle and pop.
