The MAHLE S42221 Premium Piston Rings Set is specifically to fit Cummins 5.9 engines manufactured between 1989 and 2003. This high-quality piston ring set ensures optimal performance and reliability for your Cummins engine.
The MAHLE S42221 set includes three types of rings to cover the complete compression and oil control needs of your engine. The upper compression ring (UCR) is made of durable ductile iron with a ceramic chrome facing, providing excellent sealing and longevity. The lower compression ring (LCR) and oil control ring (OCR) are constructed with cast iron for reliable performance.
With an axial height of 3.00mm for UCR, 2.38mm for LCR, and 4.00mm for OCR, these rings are engineered to precise specifications for proper fit and function. The UCR utilizes the RFK-18U ring type, while the LCR is of BT-10 type, and the OCR features the GCL-40UAW type.
