Performance Tuning
Custom, in-house ECU tuning on the factory ECU — developed and dyno-verified on your Trailblazer
- Every tune is written specifically for your Trailblazer’s 2.8 Duramax — no generic off-the-shelf files. We log, calibrate and dyno-verify on our own rollers so the result is matched to your engine, fuel and how you actually use it.
- We target the part of the curve that matters for a heavy tow wagon: stronger, earlier and flatter torque through the 1800-2500rpm towing band, plus sharper throttle response to kill the soft off-idle feel.
- Six-speed auto calibration is dialled in alongside the engine tune so the transmission holds gears under load instead of hunting and short-shifting on grades — a common Trailblazer towing complaint.
- Tuning is done on the standard factory ECU and is fully reversible. We tune for sustained towing and touring loads in Queensland heat, with safe EGTs and sensible margins — not headline dyno numbers at the expense of longevity.
