Description
Intermediate shaft failure is common as power levels are increased in Dodge 47RE, 47RH and 48RE units. The Sonnax extreme duty intermediate shaft for high-horsepower street or competition Dodge truck applications is manufactured from 300 maraging ultra high-strength steel and is specially heat-treated and processed for maximum strength and resistance to fracture. This shaft features many unique refinements available only from Sonnax, including a torsional design that allows energy to be absorbed, reducing peak loads to critical areas, and patented modifications to lubrication channel to increase lube flow to prevent gear train meltdown. This shaft has rolled splines for increased durability and is suitable for any high-horsepower street, towing or competition application.

- 12 months / unlimited km on reman transmissions (street use)
- Lifetime on Randy's hard parts (gears, shafts) where stated
- Claims processed via Randy's Warranty Claims & Support form
- Original proof of purchase required
- Competition / off-road use excluded unless specifically stated
Fitment by Willys Workshop can be arranged in-house at our Oxley or Warana locations — workshop fitment receipts count toward warranty claim documentation.
