This ProVent oil catch can kit (part FMPV628DPC) is the direct-fit kit for the HILUX / FORTUNER — it stops oil vapour from the crankcase breather fouling your intake, intercooler and EGR system — a known failure path on common-rail diesels.
Direction-Plus ProVent system separates and redirects oil and air from blow-by gas produced from within the crankcase, which also provides the option of returning the oil back to the sump. Direction Plus products are covered by the manufacturer's standard terms in addition to Australian Consumer Law statutory guarantees:
- Notify within 7 days of delivery of any defect or damage
- Must allow inspection before installation of any allegedly defective Goods
- Implied Statutory Guarantees under the ACL apply for Consumer purchasers
- Genuine DP replacement elements required to maintain ProVent / PreLine-Plus / Fuel Manager service intervals
