HPD’s Toyota Landcruiser 100 series 1HD-FTE 4.2L direct replacement upgrade intercooler kit runs a larger and thicker core to keep the intake and egt temperatures at safer and more efficient working limits. This HPD direct fit upgrade kit comes with all components to make fitting easy and is designed to run with standard turbo & piping through the engine bay, and mild tuning up to 130kw’s at the wheels.
The factory Toyota intercooler core size is 270x240x65mm, giving a surface area of 650cm², and a volume of 4212cc.
Our intercooler measures 280x300x76mm, giving a surface area of 840cm², and a volume of 6384cc.
That’s a 29% increase in surface area cooling, and an increase in volume of 52%!
