Our BA pump module has an oversized fuel basket which assists in reducing fuel starvation.
We strongly recommend the use of a heavy duty wiring and relay kit as these pumps require higher current than the factory wiring can provide. These are available to purchase as a kit.
Tefzel In tank fuel pump wiring kit to suit single fuel pump.
Factory fuel pump wiring was never designed for the current aftermarket in tank high flow fuel pumps people are installing.
The factory wiring will not allow the upgraded fuel pump to perform at its advertised flow rates due to a high current drop withing the fuel pump wiring circuit.
The DSR Fuel Pump wiring kit is designed with the correctly sized high-quality wire and high quality 40 amp relay that will deliver the required current and allow the fuel pump to perform at maximum flow.
These kits are designed to mount the relay near the in tank fuel pump basket and run a single power wire from the starter motor 12v positive post.
Kits include:
- Tefzel wire, Raychem heat shrink and braided sheath.
- Installation instructions.
- 40 amp relay with fuse.
