Description
Give your D23 NP300 Navara’s YS23DDTT motor much needed relief from high intake temperatures. Independent testing has proven that this unit reduces air intake temperatures by around 40°C resulting in 6kW increase in power and 20Nm increase in torque (without tuning).
It’s not uncommon for these motors to have air intake temperatures of over 90°C causing high engine operating temperatures and loss of power, so if you’re tuning for more power, installing an HPD intercooler upgrade is an absolute must. This intercooler kit is easy to install and non-invasive which means no cutting or drilling is required for most models.
HPD has developed a charge pipe adaptor with a dual seal to eliminate any leaking issues that have become a hallmark of the factory intercooler system.
The factory Nissan intercooler core size is 540x155x80mm, giving a surface area of 840cm², and a volume of 6700cc.
Our upgrade intercooler measures 600x300x76mm, giving a massively improved surface area of 1800cm², and a simply HUGE volume of 13680cc.
That’s an increase of over 200% in surface area cooling and charge air cooling volume!
PLEASE NOTE: Models with big chassis end plates will require modification to fit this intercooler.
NOTE: If your car is equipped with Forward Emergency Braking radar system, this may need to be relocated in order to install the intercooler kit. Please check compatibility with your vehicle.
Hot pipe:
HPD also offer an optional replacement Hot pipe which eliminates the factory pipe commonly found to leak oil back on top of the turbocharger. We have designed a twin sealing coupling that outperforms OE and also eliminates the factory baffles. Hotpipe includes retaining clip.
Please note – HPD Hot Pipe is not compatible with stock intercooler & piping
