HPD’s Mitsubishi Triton 2.4L intercooler kit (as used by Craig Dontas in the Super Utes racing series) has been designed to withstand extreme conditions, high boost levels and still maintain cool intake temperatures while providing great performance, reliability, consistent and sustainable power on the track.
The factory Mitsubishi intercooler core size is 580x160x50mm, giving a surface area of 930cm², and a volume of 4640cc.
Our upgrade intercooler measures 600x300x76mm, giving a massively improved surface area of 1800cm², and a simply HUGE volume of 13680cc.
That’s an increase of almost 200% in surface area cooling, and a RIDICULOUS 295% more charge air cooling volume!
The Mitsubishi Triton intercooler has seen results with over 600nm of torque and 180+ rwkw’s on 35+ psi of boost. With results like this you know the HPD intercooler is up to its name in cooling, durability and performance.
By reducing inlet temperatures, you will also reduce engine running temperatures.
This kit is compatible with both the MQ and MR facelift Triton, and also the 2.4L Pajero Sport.

HPD products carry a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship from the date of purchase:
- Covers intercoolers, catch can / oil separator kits, transmission coolers, intakes
- Australian-designed and manufactured
- Excludes off-road competition use and damage from improper installation
- Original proof of purchase required for claims
