This blanket fits a multitude of Cummins upgraded turbo housings but was specifically designed to fit the Borg Warner S300GX turbocharger housing that is commonly used on 1994-2004 Dodge Cummins 5.9L diesel.
The blanket completely covers around the entire turbo exhaust housing covering all the important areas, however still giving adequate clearance for the internal wastegate diaphragm on the side of the turbine housing.
The blanket features 1″ thick 6 pound density ceramic mat on the inside allowing it to handle 2500° Fahrenheit direct heat.
The proprietary aluminium bonded pulverized lava rock exterior fabric is made to be durable and handle extremely high temperatures (over 2500°F). The internal alumnized layer also helps to add extra barrier to heat and liquids.
This blanket is designed to retain heat lowering engine bay temperatures and increase turbo spool times.
