Extractors swap the cast manifold for equal length primaries so each cylinder breathes more evenly. On a stock vehicle, on their own, the gain is small. Matched to a full system and a tune where the engine takes one, they’re worth it. We’d sooner say that up front than sell you a set that does nothing.

Are extractors worth it on a stock vehicle?
On their own, on an otherwise stock vehicle, the gain is small. Matched to a full system, and a tune where the engine takes one, they are worth it. We would sooner say that up front than sell you a set that does nothing.
Do I need new gaskets when I fit extractors?
Yes. Do the extractor and manifold gaskets while it is apart. They are a small part of the job and reusing an old one is how you end up doing it twice.
Do extractors need a tune?
If the engine runs a tuneable ECU and you want the full gain, yes. On older vehicles without one, extractors and a matched system still help it breathe. Ask us what applies to yours.
