Air intake FAQs
Will a high-flow air intake add power?
On its own it reduces intake restriction and temps, which helps a tuned or hard-worked diesel breathe. The biggest gains come as part of a breathing package with an intercooler and a tune.
Will it affect my warranty?
A quality bolt-on intake is widely fitted; check your manufacturer’s terms if your vehicle is under warranty. Our team can advise on a clean install.
Do I need a snorkel as well?
A snorkel raises your air pickup for dust and water crossings; an intake improves flow. They do different jobs and many touring builds run both — ask us what suits your driving.
